Day 2 in Angel Fire meant the girls got to take their turn on the slopes!
Stephanie, Jenna and I were three FUN, FREE WOMEN,
with no stinky boys to bother us. What would we do?
SKI, EAT, SING, DANCE, TALK
Jenna had a rough start and got tangled in the fence.
So, while she struggled to get up Stephanie and I took a moment
to take our picture. It was one of those teaching moments.
Ya know, the kind were the parent stands there and makes their child
be successful. :) Well, I eventually hiked back up and helped the poor child.
I don't think she fell again.
Just GIRLS! Just being DORKS! Just a SNOWPLOWIN!
I tend to be a lil, oh musical at times.
At one point I sang out at the top of my lungs,
"who let the dogs out?"
and I pointed to a skier with my pole beside me to answer.
She, hmmmm, pretty much skied off as quickly as possible,
with a rather frightened look on her face.
So, Stephanie shouted,
"woof, woof, woof, woof!"
Yeah, for friend who will act like a CRAZY person with you!
Poor Jenna just pretended like she didn't know us!
(over and over and over again)

One other rather comical event that took place,
over and over again were the conversations we had with strangers
on the ski lift. Seemed my two ski friends would always
place me on the side of the chair lift with the "stranger."
After having two of the same ole conversations I decided to make them
a little more intresting. I told the "stanger" tales about Stephanie
and her loser boyfriend and baby daddy. I thought I was so stinkin FUNNY.
(but once again, I was the only one laughing.)
I seriously could get a complex if I wasn't so darn confident!
It was a great day on the mountain. I don't think I wore my gloves at all.
I love skiing when it isn't too cold, even if you sacrifice good snow.
While we were out cutting through the snow, I mean snowplowing,
the boys had a little of their own fun sledding.
I just love these pics they took!
I can just imagine Jason and Guthry on a snowy mountain, with
2 two year olds, 1 ten month old, and themselves.
WOW! Needless to say..they were all on the front porch
when we arrived, obviously all needing some attention.
YIPPIE for fun on the slopes with the girls,
random song outburst,
and a great husband who gave me a lil GIRL time!
