Did you hear that?

Bright Sunshine

Wind Blowin

Green Grass

Birds a Chirpin

Kids Playing

LISTEN! What's that you hear? Music?

YEP! YOU got it........
The Ice Cream Man!
No doubt, Spring is here!
Oh the joys of buying an overpriced ice cream from
an old beat up van.

We all have our standard order:

KK and I are Fudge Bomb lovers.
Johnathan is a Sponge Bob man. He loves the bubble gum eyes.
Jenna loves her some Tweedy Bird,
this is the same item she has ordered since she was 2
and Jason well he likes the Firecracker Bomb.
(that's why he married me!)

I just love the sights and sounds that Spring brings,
not to mention the fun times spent with family.

Big Girls

Before we left Boulder, my sister and Johnathan
had to go to "their" favorite park.

So, while they played..... I snapped some pictures of the Big Girls
being their normal goofy selves!

Jenna is getting SO STINKIN TALL! Her legs are LONGGGG!
KK, she is the easiest, most laid back teenager EVER!
She is always so sweet and willing to do anything!
I love that about her!
WEEEEEEEEEEEE!
See what I mean bout those long LEGS?
Love me some warm days in the Boulder Mountains!
Hope to play at that park again real soon!

Art Girl

I have always wanted to be good at ART,
but I am seriously TERRIBLE!

I can see it, picture it...I can get the vision.
But I just can't make it happen on paper, or canvas.

My precious niece, Steffi Kay, is an EXTREME artist!
This child can draw, or create literally anything!

Earlier this year she made this shoe.
It was showcased in a Unique shoe store in Boulder on Pearl Street.
My sister said that when they went in to view it, the
store owner told them that everyone coming in LOVED hers.
She was so excited and VERY PROUD!
Awesome for her, her school has a spectacular art program.
AND recently...
her artwork was chosen to be showcased
in The Boulder Valley School Art Show.

So, while we were in Boulder over Spring Break we found our way
to the Public Library where her art was on display.
Luckily, my Grandmother was able to see it too!
Abstract.... Scissors.... Shading.... Pencil....
WAY GOOD! WAY AWESOME! WAY FANTASTIC!
and WAY. OVER. MY. HEAD.
We are all so so so proud of her!

Your talent is God's gift to you; what you do with it is your gift to God.

Day 2 in Angel Fire

Day 2 in Angel Fire meant the girls got to take their turn on the slopes!
Stephanie, Jenna and I were three FUN, FREE WOMEN,
with no stinky boys to bother us. What would we do?
SKI, EAT, SING, DANCE, TALK
Jenna had a rough start and got tangled in the fence.
So, while she struggled to get up Stephanie and I took a moment
to take our picture. It was one of those teaching moments.
Ya know, the kind were the parent stands there and makes their child
be successful. :) Well, I eventually hiked back up and helped the poor child.
I don't think she fell again.
Just GIRLS! Just being DORKS! Just a SNOWPLOWIN!

I tend to be a lil, oh musical at times.
At one point I sang out at the top of my lungs,
"who let the dogs out?"
and I pointed to a skier with my pole beside me to answer.
She, hmmmm, pretty much skied off as quickly as possible,
with a rather frightened look on her face.
So, Stephanie shouted,
"woof, woof, woof, woof!"
Yeah, for friend who will act like a CRAZY person with you!

Poor Jenna just pretended like she didn't know us!
(over and over and over again)
One other rather comical event that took place,
over and over again were the conversations we had with strangers
on the ski lift. Seemed my two ski friends would always
place me on the side of the chair lift with the "stranger."
After having two of the same ole conversations I decided to make them
a little more intresting. I told the "stanger" tales about Stephanie
and her loser boyfriend and baby daddy. I thought I was so stinkin FUNNY.
(but once again, I was the only one laughing.)
I seriously could get a complex if I wasn't so darn confident!

It was a great day on the mountain. I don't think I wore my gloves at all.
I love skiing when it isn't too cold, even if you sacrifice good snow.

While we were out cutting through the snow, I mean snowplowing,
the boys had a little of their own fun sledding.
I just love these pics they took!
I can just imagine Jason and Guthry on a snowy mountain, with
2 two year olds, 1 ten month old, and themselves.

WOW! Needless to say..they were all on the front porch
when we arrived, obviously all needing some attention.

YIPPIE for fun on the slopes with the girls,
random song outburst,
and a great husband who gave me a lil GIRL time!
